Wedding Planning
A wedding is one of the most special and cherished days you will ever have.
You will never have another day like it. It deserves to be given the care and attention that such as special day deserves. You deserve to have the best location, the best flowers, the best dress, the best food – the best day. Being experienced wedding planner’s we know what makes the best of the best.
Whether your wedding is at home or abroad; in a church or on a mountain; then the same rules and standards of quality apply. Normally the responsibility for organising the wedding falls to the bride to be and this can often take the shine of the special day. The stress of organising a wedding can be immense and it can often be all consuming and can simply take over. We lift the stress and take the hassle out of your big day.
We start with an initial consultation in order to get to know you. We get to know your wants, your style and your requirements. We then put together a Wedding Plan that outlines all the stages and work we undertake in the run up to your wedding, by agreeing a timeline when everything will be agreed. We then guide you through every element of your wedding and give you a selection of choices until you’re happy with each element. There’s no limit to the number of choices, we keep going until you’re happy.
No matter what your tastes, be it traditional or off-the-wall, we will give you the most enjoyable, care free, stylish, elegant and memorable wedding.
‘Same sex weddings’ / Civil Partnerships
Whether you call them gay weddings, same sex marriages or civil partnerships, there is no doubting that this is a new phenomenon.
Until now same sex couples have been shunned by Irish wedding planners who show prejudice towards them and seem more worried about how their image could be affected by being associated with gay clients.
Thankfully attitudes here are finally starting to change with the Civil Partnership Bill due to be passed in the summer; it will legalise civil partnerships for same-sex couples and finally allow them to be married in
Same-sex weddings have a reputation for flamboyance and extravagance, and rightly so. Wecater for all aspects of the ‘wedding’ even down to finding an outfit for the happy couple’s Chihuahua (I kid you not). This includes transvestite and transexual weddings with the ‘bride to be’ taken through every aspect of ‘her’ wedding in the same way I would with a female bride.
Event Management
Any event can be daunting to a ‘rookie’ event manager because there is a knack to good event management, which comes through experience. Some people are naturally adept at handling events but being able to juggle a dozen or so elements of the same event, under pressure, and to a tight timescale cannot be taught, it is just learnt via experience of doing events again, and again and again.
